Two weeks ago, 8 youth began their first day of the NAPS Year of Dedication Team 12 (YOD12), a year of service for humanity. During their first week of service, God used the team as a blessing to a widowed grandma who for years had prayed for God to send someone to give her a porch for her home. Now, you may be thinking that a porch is optional. However, this elderly woman was living in a trailer home that was about five feet off the ground! Not only that, but she was in need of food and her property was infested with bees. The team labored in the hot sun for a full week as they built a deck, purchased groceries, and got rid of her bee infestation. All were touched as she expressed her sincere appreciation.
