NAPS will be undergoing one of the most power-packed summers yet! Over 30 members will be leaving for Madagascar on Monday, May 12; from there they will go on to Botswana on June 22 and return home on July 22. In both areas, they will be conducting various outreach programs, including English classes, community crafts, children's programs, and more. More importantly, they will be training the youth of both areas in utilizing their gifts to reach out to their own countries.
YOD4 (the Year of Dedication 4 Team) and other NAPS volunteers will be working in Tampa, FL. They also will be doing various outreach programs, particularly geared to young people in lower-income neighborhoods.
Three NAPS members from Haiti will be returning to their country for a factfinding, in which they will be working with NAPS Haiti to plan for a future mission there.
Mr. Gavin Gaynair, Oakwood University alumnus, will be returning to India to teach at the African-Indian Light Academy, the first African-Indian school in all of India. NAPS started the project in 2005, and was completed last summer.
