NAPS Zambia began the year with looking at the physical needs of the people in Southern Province at the NAPS Centre of Good Hope. They conducted feeding programs for three Months- January to March. The famine was a direct result of drought for that region, which is very common. The relief program covered over 5 villages and 2 Basic Schools. Over 1000 pupils benefited from the food relief mission. At the end of the mission, more than ten thousand (10,000) people were fed, excluding pupils from the two schools. July to August, NAPS Zambia Lusaka Branch embarked on a mission in Chawama, where 80 souls were baptized and more than 500 children were taught and fed. At the end more than 8 youths were inspired by our work and desired to work with NAPS. In August and September, we conducted a Crusade with the SDA church in Lusaka at Woodlands stadium were NAPS did massive door to door evangelism and in the end 814 souls got baptized. NAPS also did community service at the health Centre. During the same period, another mission was going on in Choma, Cilinda Village and at the end of the mission, 126 Souls got baptized, 300 children attended children’s programs, and over 300 people were fed.

Over 800 people enrolled in Voice of Prophecy School and 500 of them graduated. A majority of the VOP graduates were also baptized into the SDA church, most of them coming from other denominations. More than 500 Bibles were given out to those who graduated and were baptized. At the end of the mission, a NAPS branch was opened with a membership of 12 members to continue with the work NAPS left behind.
