Deadly tornadoes struck the South again
on April 27, hitting Alabama the hardest. Several volunteer pour out into tornado-ravaged areas of Madison county, Alabama the day after the deadly storm. For the past three (3) days, volunteers were able to help with the clean up and recovery of personal items of the surviors.
Based at the Oakwood University campus in Hunstville, Alabama, NAPS is not unfamiliar with the devastations that are produced by tornadoes, but the destruction was not in some distant place, but at home. The volunteers provide comfort in terms of singing, praying, making sure people are Ok, to working with people one-on-one, or distributing food, and clean-ups.
