A new branch is born in Liberia after three extensive weeks of training and evangelism. This Christmas NAPS headed to West Africa to work with the passionate youth of Liberia. A team of 14 volunteer from the NAPS USA and 1 volunteer from NAPS Zambia forwent their Christmas break to push the frontiers to the west.
The team arrived in Monrovia, Liberia on December 19th, 2010 where they were greeted with the warm welcome of 30 plus NAPS trainees from various parts of the country. After two days of training the team split and departed for Grand Bassa County and Bong County where they would spend the two weeks ministering the people of the villages.
The NAPS volunteers were used by God to accomplish a great work. In addition to conducting evangelistic seminars and door to door bible study, the teams were able to carry out numerous children’s programs in areas where there are no established schools and the majority of the children are illiterate. They were able to feed over 150 people, build a much needed bridge, and erect two churches. At the end of the two weeks, 121 people were baptized. NAPS branches where formed in both counties.
Both branches are still working with 13 souls baptized after the mission
