On May 17, 2010, a team of 40 NAPS volunteers launched "Operation Restore: Redeeming the Past" in areas of Mississippi and Alabama. The three-year plan for this project involves summer educational programs for the youth in these areas, as well as working against poverty and malnutrition for the communities at large. HIV/AIDS awareness programs will also be a focal point of the project. After the initial six weeks for the program, the next Year of Dedication Team (YOD7), will begin their year in these areas this August, continuing the work there with more intensive programs.
Currently, the YOD6 team is conducting similar programs in Orlando, FL. Please keep these projects in your prayers.
