This report covers the activities conducted by NAPS Copperbelt from January- December 2010.
The NAPS members worked tirelessly to win souls for the master in various ways as outlined in
the annual objectives below;
1. Evangelistic campaigns.
Being the core of NAPS activities, Evangelistic campaigns have been conducted in Ndola,
Chililabombwe and Serenje. This resulted in many baptisms as specified in the statistics
part.
2. Bibles and Literature distributions.
NAPS saw the continuity of the Give God’s Word project (GGWP) in the year 2010.
Bibles have been distributed mostly to baptized candidates so as they learn more about
Jesus. We praise God for the continuity of this project as many souls have had bibles.
3. Children programs.
NAPS did not neglect the little ones in our operation. Many Children have been
ministered unto this year in missions, camp meetings, schools and in our community.
This was done through lessons imparted in songs, skits, crafts, and many more ways.
4. Home Crusades:
NAPS did some simple Evangelism home crusades in Pamodzi. Some of these were
conducted in collaboration with the Church. These were done in people’s homes and
have proved to be effective and less costly.
5. Door to door Evangelism
After being charged at the NAPS International Convention in Choma, we intensified the
door to door evangelism. This was in an effort to implement the theme, “Evangelism
2 * 2.. Finishing the work……. One home at a time. We’ve had people souls who were
baptized from the door to door evangelism
6. HIV/AIDS Sensitizations.
This was done in Schools, World aids day, missions youth programs etc. NAPS visited
different schools this year to sensitize on HIV/AIDS.
7. Youth Motivations/ inspirations in Schools.
Motivations talks has been done not only in high schools but also in Colleges like Ndola
School of Nursing
8. Capacity and character building
These were conducted in primary and basic schools in Pamodzi and overspill residential
areas.
9. Branch establishments
Through NAPS CB’s expansion program, we have managed to strengthen our
Chililabombwe Branch as well as opening a branch in Kitwe.
10. Feeding programs
In an effort to meet even the physical needs of the vulnerable kids, NAPS conducted
feeding programs in Chililabombwe and Masangano.
11. Community services.
The volunteers took time to do community services in some area in mission sites, this
was through renovating of the huts, cleaning the surrounding etc.
12. General Hygiene sensitization
Many people were given information on General hygiene in different mission sites.
13. Drug and alcohol awareness
As we visited students in the schools, drug and alcohol awareness messages were done.
Also Counseling sessions have been conducted both in Schools and in mission sites. A lot
of young people were helped on how to stop these vises.
14. church construction :
The Church Construction in Chimupati Village in Serenje district is a blessing to the local
people. We thank the NAPS U.S for the funding. People now have a church to worship
the God of Israel.
15. Evangelism Seminar and workshops
This was done during youth NAPS Meeting, youth Meetings as well as in Churches eg
Chililabombwe Central SDA Church.
16. NAPS had the privilege of being invited by the Church to teach children in Camp
meetings this year. Districts done children programs includes, Ndola, Luanshya West,
and Chililabombwe.
